Two Minnesota Trade Office Seminars




The Minnesota Trade Office is pleased to invite you to join us for two upcoming seminars.  Both seminars will be held at our department's conference center on the 2nd floor skyway level in the 1st National Bank Bldg., 332 Minnesota St., St. Paul, MN 55101.
 

♦ On Wednesday, September 16, we will conduct a morning seminar entitled "Export Opportunities in Norway."  The seminar will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.  Company representatives will also have the option of meeting with the speaker, Mr. Heming Bjorna, commercial specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Oslo, to discuss specific questions or concerns.  During the seminar, he will cover the ins and outs of doing business Norway, and will discuss the best prospects and real challenges of this market.

On Tuesday, September 29, we offer our "Export Process: An Introduction to Exporting"  seminar, at our department conference center in St. Paul.  The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (including a networking lunch), with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m.

 
Whether you are new to exporting or want to expand your global presence, the "Export Process" will provide the tools to help you make sound decisions and plan for export success.  The seminar, a cornerstone of our Export Essentials series, will address a broad overview of fundamental exporting topics including how to assess your company's readiness to export, finding the right markets for your product or services, arranging shipments and collecting payment.
 
In addition to our staff, Rob Scarlett from Medical Equipment Exporters, Inc., will also speak on making the export decision and assessing your readiness to export.
