Minnesota Mission to South Korea -

September 25-October 1, 2011

Governor Mark Dayton will lead a trade mission to South Korea from September 25-October 1, 2011.  South Korea is Minnesota's sixth largest export partner, up from ninth a year ago and fourteenth just a decade ago.

The Minnesota Trade Office, lead organizer of the mission, is now accepting applications from Minnesota business leaders interested in joining the delegation.  The trade mission will include a briefing at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, meetings with industry leaders, government officials and companies interested in investing in operations in Minnesota, and business-to-business meetings.  If your company or organization has business interests in South Korea, or if you are thinking of exploring opportunities in this important market, please consider applying.

Application deadline is August 12, 2011. Visit the Minnesota Trade Office website for mission details and an application.  http://bit.ly/TradeMissions

The Governor will also speak at the 43rd Annual Joint Meeting of the Midwest U.S.-Japan Association and Japan-Midwest U.S. Association in Tokyo on September 26, 2011.  The Conference is a major forum for trade and investment between the Midwest region and Japan. Conference attendance is open to Minnesota companies, and further information can be found at: http://www.midwest-japan.org/pages/agenda.aspx
