DESCRIPTION:Hispanic Communications Specialist (R547600)
Help foster a culture where team members feel valued and rewarded. Develop communications for team members at Client stores, Distribution Centers and headquarters.
•Evaluate companies Spanish communication needs. Advise on creating universally understood, accurate and `brand-right` Spanish materials for team members.
•Translate communication materials for Spanish-speaking team members and guests; ensures timeliness, accuracy, and overall quality. Provides translation support to Human Resources and Employee/Labor Relations partners in ER Investigations.
•Write communication in Spanish using original messages in English for materials that cannot be translated, to ensure accuracy of communication objectives.
•Identify opportunities to improve training and communication within the Stores and DCs.
•Work with internal clients to determine best methods for design, development and deployment of communication. Use identified tools, and processes to execute projects in line with Client's Spanish Communications Standards.
Requirements
•4 year college degree in Linguistics, Communications, Latin American Studies, or Education
•3-5 years experience in translation and/or Hispanic Relations
•Native Spanish speaker
•Excellent written and oral communication skills and a desire to spend a considerable amount of time writing and editing
•Deep understanding of Spanish grammar and the impact of communication messages through out a diverse Spanish-speaking audience
